PETER WALTON
| PETER WALTON started
playing guitar at the age of twelve and then studied at Leeds College of Music (1978-82).
Whilst still at college he began his professional career at the Empress Ballroom,
Blackpool in the Ken Turner Orchestra playing Summer Seasons, Functions and at all the
major Standard and Latin-American dance festivals. He became the musical director for the comedians 'Little & Large' (1983-86) and since moving to London in 1983 he has been the guitarist for several West End shows (The Rink, Sugar Babies, Anything Goes, Children of Eden, Joseph, Hot Shoe Shuffle |

| and Oliver. Peter joined the Ross Mitchell Band in 1986-90 contributing arrangements for the Dansan album 'Continental' and Dance And Listen albums 'Flamingo', 'Zing 11', Star requests', 'Zing into the '90's', and 'Don't Stop'. He has also written original tunes for the Ross Mitchell Band including 'Winter Dreams' and 'Lullaby' (Waltzes), 'La Corrida' and 'Echoes of Spain' (Paso-Dobles). He is currently involved in writing library music for Films and Television. | |
